Conversation between Father, Mother, Brother and Sister!!
தந்தை, தாய், சகோதரர், சகோதரி இடையேயான உரையாடல்!!
Father : I've just received a letter from Arun.
தந்தை : இப்போது தான் அருணிடமிருந்து ஒரு கடிதம் வந்தது.
Mother : What does he say? Has he found a new place to stay?
தாய் : அவன் என்ன எழுதியிருக்கிறான்? தங்கப் புது இடம் அவனுக்குக் கிடைத்து விட்டதா?
Father : Yes. He has. It's in Besant Nagar. It's on Central Street.
தந்தை : ஆம் கிடைத்து விட்டது. அது பெசன்ட் நகரில் இருக்கிறது. அது சென்ட்ரல் தெருவில் உள்ளது.
Brother : Is it a nice place?
சகோதரர் : அது நல்ல இடமா?
Father : I think so. He says it's a large building with three floors. He lives in the flat on the first floor.
தந்தை : நான் அப்படித் தான் நினைக்கிறேன். மூன்று மாடிகளுள்ள பெரிய கட்டிடம் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறான். முதல் மாடியில் ஒரு ஃப்ளாட்டில் இருக்கிறான்.
Brother : A flat?
சகோதரர் : ஒரு ஃப்ளாட்டா?
Father : Yes. It has a bed room, a living room, a kichenet and a washroom.
தந்தை : ஆம் அதில் ஒரு படுக்கை அறை, வரவேற்பு அறை, அடுப்பறை மற்றும் குளியலறை இருக்கின்றன.
Brother : But does he have a garden?
சகோதரர் : ஆனால் அவனுக்கு தோட்டம் உண்டா?
Father : No. He says the whole building is in a small plot.
தந்தை : இல்லை. அம்முழு கட்டிடமும் ஒரு மனையில் இருக்கிறது என்று எழுதியுள்ளான்.
Sister : Poor Arun! He'll miss many things.
சகோதரி : பாவம் அருண்! பல வசதிகள் இல்லாமல் சிரமப்படுவான்.
Brother : Yes. He'll miss his gardening, long walks and picking fruits. He'll be missing you too.
சகோதரர் : ஆம் அவனுக்குத் தோட்டமில்லை, நடப்பதற்குப் போதுமான இடம் இருக்காது. பழங்களைப் பறிக்க முடியாது. அவன் உன் பிரிவால் வருந்துவான்.
Sister : Of course, He'll miss bathing in the river...a thing that he enjoy the most.
சகோதரி : ஆற்றில் குளிப்பதென்றால் அவன் கும்மாளம் போடுவான். அவனால் ஆற்றில் குளித்த மாதிரி அங்கு குளிக்க முடியாது.
Mother : Will he be happy in his flat?
தாய் : அவனுடைய பிளாட்டில் அவன் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருப்பானா?
Father : Why not? It has many other facilities. It has water on the tap; electricity and everything you need.
தந்தை : ஏன் முடியாது. ஆனால், மற்ற எல்லா வசதிகளும் உண்டே. குழாயைத் திறந்தவுடன் தண்ணீர், மின்சாரம், வேறு பல வசதிகளும் அங்கே இருக்கின்றன.
Brother : You're right. It must be quite modern.
சகோதரர் : நீங்கள் சொல்லுவது சரி. ஆனால், முற்றிலும் நவீன மயமானதாக இருக்கும்.

Father and Daughter
தந்தை மற்றும் மகளுக்கு இடையேயான உரையாடல்.

Father: I received progress report of your examination.
அப்பா : உன்னுடைய தேர்ச்சி அறிக்கை எனக்கு கிடைத்துள்ளது.
Daughter: Have I passed all the subjects?
மகள் : எல்லா பாடங்களிலும் நான் தேர்ச்சி பெற்று விட்டேனா?
Father: You have failed in science subjects especially physics and chemistry.
அப்பா : அறிவியல் பாடங்களில் குறிப்பாக இயற்பியல் மற்றும் வேதியியல் ஆகியவற்றில் நீ தோல்வியடைந்துள்ளாய்.
Daughter: My all teachers are not in my favour.
மகள் : என் ஆசிரியர்கள் எனக்கு ஆதரவாக இல்லை.
Father: Do not blame them. Teachers taught you very well. Your report shows that your are very lazy and careless. What was the reason of your bad marks?
அப்பா : அவர்களை குற்றம் சொல்லாதே. அவர்கள் உனக்கு நன்றாக கற்றுத்தந்துள்ளனர். உன்னுடைய அறிக்கை நீ மிகவும் சோம்பேறியாகவும், கவனமற்றவளாகவும் இருப்பதைக் காட்டுகிறது. உன்னுடைய மோசமான மதிப்பெண்ணிற்கு என்ன காரணம்?
Daughter: I became upset when I read the questions in the exam. Because I did not study those questions.
மகள்: நான் தேர்வுகளில் கேள்விகளை படிக்கும்போது வருந்தினேன். ஏனென்றால் நான் அந்த கேள்விகளை படிக்கவில்லை.
Father: You should be ashamed of yourself. You have disappointed me.
அப்பா : இதற்கு நீ வெட்கப்பட வேண்டும். நீ என்னை ஏமாற்றமடையச் செய்துவிட்டாய்.
Daughter: I am sorry. I promise you to study from today. My next progress would be excellent Dad.
மகள் : இதற்காக நான் வருந்துகிறேன், இன்றிலிருந்து நான் நன்றாக படிப்பேன். என்னுடைய அடுத்த அறிக்கை சிறப்பாக இருக்கும் அப்பா.
Father: Promise?
அப்பா : நிஜமாகவா?
Daughter: Yes Dad.
மகள் : ஆம் அப்பா.
Father: Ok. Study well and get good marks in your next exam.
அப்பா : சரி. நன்றாக படித்து உன்னுடைய அடுத்த தேர்வில் நல்ல மதிப்பெண்கள் பெற வேண்டும.

Father and Son about examination
Father : I think your exam is very near.
தந்தை : உன் தேர்வு மிக அருகில் இருக்கிறது என்று நான் நினைக்கிறேன்.
Son : Yes dad. And I am ready for that.
மகன் : ஆமாம் அப்பா. அதற்காக நான் தயாராக இருக்கிறேன்.
Father : Did you finish reading everything?
தந்தை : நீ எல்லாவற்றையும் படித்து முடித்து விட்டாயா?
Son : Yes, I have already revised my book several times.
மகன் : ஆமாம், நான் ஏற்கனவே என் புத்தகத்தை பலமுறை படித்துவிட்டேன்.
Father : So which rank do you expect ?
தந்தை : நீ எந்த தரவரிசையை எதிர்ப்பார்க்கிறாய்?
Son : I am hopeful that I will get first place. In the Model test exam. I got first place and I secured the highest marks in our school.
மகன் : நான் முதல் வகுப்பில் தேர்ச்சி பெறுவேன் என்று நம்புகிறேன். மாதிரி தேர்வில் நான் அதிக மதிப்பெண்களைப் பெற்று எங்கள் பள்ளியில் முதலிடம் பிடித்துள்ளேன்.
Father : Fine, I epect you will score good marks in the SSC examination.
தந்தை : நல்லது, நீ SSC தேர்வில் நல்ல மதிப்பெண் பெறுவாய் என்று நான் எதிர்பார்க்கிறோம்.
Son : If everything goes fine then I will fulfill your expectation.
மகன் : எல்லாம் நன்றாக நடந்தால், நான் உங்களுடைய எதிர்பார்ப்புகளை நிறைவேற்றுவேன்.
Father : This exam is very crucial because your higher study will depends on this result. If you didn't study well in HSC then you may get chance for higher study in a reputed university.
தந்தை : இந்தத் தேர்வு தான் உன்னுடைய மேல் படிப்பை முடிவு செய்யும் என்பதால் இந்தப் பரிட்சை மிகவும் முக்கியமானது. நீ HSC-யில் சரியாக படிக்காவிட்டால், புகழ் பெற்ற பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் மேல் படிப்புக்கான வாய்ப்பைப் பெற முடியாமல் போய்விடும்.
Son : That's true and I am serious in my studies.
மகன் : அது உண்மைதான், என்னுடைய படிப்பில் நான் தீவிரமாக இருக்கிறேன்.
Father : Another thing that your career will depend on the area of your higher study. So this result will actually determine your career as well.
Son : Oh really?
மகன் : அப்படியா?
Father : So do your best, my son.
தந்தை : அதனால் உன்னால் முடிந்ததை சிறப்பாக செய், என் மகனே.
Son : Don't worry, dad. I am fully prepared.
மகன் : கவலைப்படாதீர்கள் அப்பா. நான் முழுமையாக தயாராக இருக்கிறேன்.
Father : Now it's too late, so go and sleep. Let me know if you need anything. Good night.
தந்தை : இப்போது மிகவும் தாமதமாகி விட்டது, அதனால் போய் தூங்கு. உனக்கு ஏதேனும் தேவை என்றால் எனக்கு தெரியப்படுத்து. இரவு வணக்கம்.
Son : Good night.
மகன் : இரவு வணக்கம்.

Mother and Daughter about New School !!
புதிய பள்ளியை பற்றி தாயும் மகளும்Mother : How's your new school, Rani?
அம்மா : உன்னுடைய புதிய பள்ளி எப்படி இருக்கிறது லாவண்யா?
Rani : Oh.. It's fine. I like it very much. Now I've a lot of new friends. Shivani, Rubini, Balaji,.. and..
Mother : And your new teacher?
அம்மா : உன்னுடைய புதிய ஆசிரியர்?
Rani : Yes, He's very kind. He sings and plays the piano beautifully.
Rani : ஆம். அவர் மிகவும் அன்பாக இருக்கிறார். அவர் நன்கு பாடுகிறார். பியானோவும் அழகாக வாசிப்பார்.
Mother : Oh.. Then you all like him very much.
அம்மா : அப்படியென்றால் உங்கள் அனைவருக்கும் அவரை மிகவும் பிடிக்குமா?
Rani : Yes, everyone does.
Rani : ஆம், எல்லோருக்கும்.
Mother : Did you get your new books?
அம்மா : புதிய புத்தங்கள் எல்லாம் உனக்கு கிடைத்துவிட்டதா?
Rani : Yes, I got them. They are very interesting with a lot of colour pictures.
Rani : ஆம். எனக்கு கிடைத்துவிட்டது. அவை மிகவும் வர்ணப்படங்களுடனும் ஆர்வத்தைத் தூண்டும் வகையிலும் உள்ளன.
Mother : Then I'm sure you're going to enjoy your lessons.
அம்மா : அப்படியென்றால் நீ உங்கள் பாடங்களை மிகவும் ரசிப்பாய் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்.
Rani: Of course, I will enjoy.
Rani : கண்டிப்பாக நான் நன்கு ரசிப்பேன்.
Mother : You must be tired and hungry, Rani. Come, let's have lunch.
அம்மா : Rani நீ மிகவும் சோர்வாகவும் பசியோடும் இருப்பாய். வா நாம் சேர்ந்து உணவு சாப்பிடுவோம்.
Rani : Yes, mum.. Very hungry, come on.
Rani : ஆமாம் அம்மா. மிகவும் பசியாக உள்ளது, வாருங்கள்.
