Introduction
A pronoun is a word which is used instead of noun.
Let us see some example sentences
1. My friend Raja came to my house yesterday and Raja spent a lot of time with me.
2. My friend Raja came to my house and he spent a lot of time with me.
The word Raja is a noun. In the second sentence Raja(noun) is replaced by the word 'he'
So in this sentence the word 'he' is known as a pronoun.

This kind of noun is a word which reveals the possessive aspect of an object or a person.
