Introduction
Conjunction is a word which joins sentences and also links words, phrases and clauses.
Let us see how the conjunction is used in a sentence.
1. Our president came to our college yesterday and we requested an IT lab.
2. During last night I went to the forest and I found a furious tiger.
3. A car and a bus met an accident.
The word AND is a conjunction in all the three sentences.
In the first two sentences - two sentences are joined by the word AND
In the third sentence two nouns are joined by the word AND.

2. You can come on foot or by bus.
3. She has not seen the film nor has an interest to see the film.
4. The car is costly yes it is more comfortable.

7. As I was about to sleep on my bed I got a phone call.
8. Though the doll is costly it is lovely.
9. We should have a proper plane before we start our work.
10. I like neither coffee nor tea but like to drink orange juice.
