Don't waste time

One day Akila and Geetha had to write an important exam and they were waiting at the bus stop. All the buses were crowded but they had to reach the examination hall on time.

Akila insisted that they can travel by one of the buses. Geetha was not interested. She kept insisting that a less crowded bus would come and we should wait for the bus since they had a lot of time.

Akila was angry with Geetha and decided to board in the bus that came next. Akila reached the exam hall at right time and wrote the exam with peace of mind.

Geetha waited for the next half an hour. Finally, a bus arrived but it was so crowded that Geetha could not even get in. Geetha realized her foolishness. But it was too late and she had to finally catch a taxi to travel to her destination.

Because of coming late to the exam hall, Geetha did not write her exam with a peace of mind. Although she obtained minimum marks, she was not satisfied in the particular exam. On the other side, Akila had reached on time and was able to write her exam well.





தாமதம்தான் இதற்கு காரணம்

ஒரு நாள் அகிலாவும் கீதாவும் ஒரு முக்கியமான பரீட்சையை எழுதவேண்டியிருந்தது, அவர்கள் இருவரும் பேருந்து நிறுத்தத்தில் காத்திருந்தனர். அனைத்து பேருந்துகளும் நெரிசலாக இருந்தன, ஆனால் அவர்கள் குறிப்பிட்ட நேரத்திற்குள் பரிட்சை அறைக்குச் செல்ல வேண்டியிருந்தது.

அகிலா ஏதாவது ஒரு பேருந்தில் செல்லலாம் என்று வலியுறுத்தினாள். ஆனால் கீதாவுக்கு ஆர்வம் இல்லை. நிறைய நேரம் இருப்பதால் குறைவான நெரிசலுடன் பேருந்து வந்துவிடும் என்றும் நாம் அதற்காக காத்திருக்கலாம் என்று கீதா வலியுறுத்தினாள்.

அகிலா கீதா மீது கோபம் கொண்டு, அடுத்து வரும் பேருந்தில் பயணிக்க முடிவு செய்தாள். அகிலா குறித்த நேரத்தில் பரீட்சை அறையை அடைந்து நிம்மதியாக பரீட்சை எழுதினாள்.

அடுத்த அரை மணி நேரம் வரை கீதா காத்திருந்தாள். கடைசியாக ஒரு பேருந்து வந்தது, ஆனால் கீதா உள் நுழைய கூட முடியாத அளவிற்கு கூட்டம் இருந்தது. இப்போது கீதா அவளுடைய முட்டாள்தனத்தை உணர்ந்தாள். நேரம் மிகவும் தாமதமாகி விட்டதால், இறுதியாக அவள் ஒரு வாடகை மோட்டார் வண்டியை பிடித்து சென்றாள்.

பரீட்சை அறைக்கு தாமதமாக வந்ததன் காரணமாக, கீதாவால் தனது பரீட்சையை நிம்மதியாக எழுத முடியவில்லை.

கீதா குறைந்தபட்ச மதிப்பெண்கள் பெற்றிருந்தாலும், அந்த குறிப்பிட்ட தேர்வில் அவள் திருப்தி அடையவில்லை. மறுபுறம் அகிலா சரியான நேரத்தில் தேர்வு அறையை அடைந்து, பரிட்சையை நன்கு எழுத முடிந்தது.
