 The Clever Thief


Devan was a clever thief. He robbed the rich and gave all to the sick and the needy. The other thieves were jealous of him. They planned to get rid of him. They challenged him to steal the King's Pyjamas.

Devan accepted the challenge. After that he prepared to execute the new challenge. He charted out a plan to steal the King's pyjamas.

He went to the King's Palace. He found the King sleeping. He opened a bottle of red ants on the bed. The King was badly bitten. He cried for help, the servants rushed in. Devan removed the King's Pyjamas at that time and escaped. On seeing that pyjamas, other thieves were dumb founded. They accepted Devan as their leader.

Moral : Be Clever.



புத்திசாலி திருடன்

தேவன் ஒரு புத்திசாலி திருடன். அவன் செல்வந்தர்களிடம் கொள்ளையடித்து நோயாளிகளுக்கும் ஏழைகளுக்கும் கொடுத்தான். மற்ற திருடர்கள் அவன் மீது பொறாமை கொண்டிருந்தனர். அவர்கள் அவனை முடித்துக்கட்ட திட்டமிட்டனர். அவர்கள் ராஜாவின் பைஜாமாக்களை உன்னால் திருட முடியுமா என்று அவனிடம் சவால் விடுத்தனர்.

தேவன் சவாலை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டான். அதற்குப் பிறகு அந்த புதிய சவாலை நிறைவேற்றுவதற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை செய்தான். அவன் ராஜாவின் பைஜாமாக்களை திருட ஒரு திட்டத்தை தீட்டினான்.

அவன் ராஜாவின் அரண்மனைக்குச் சென்றான். ராஜா தூங்கிக் கொண்டிருப்பதைக் கண்டு, அவரின் படுக்கையில் ஒரு புட்டியில் இருந்து சிவப்பு எறும்புகளை திறந்து விட்டான். அவை ராஜாவை கடித்தன. அவர் உதவிக்காக அழுதபோது, பணியாட்கள் உள்ளே நுழைந்தார்கள். அந்த சமயத்தில், தேவன் ராஜாவின் பைஜாமாக்களை கழற்றி எடுத்துக்கொண்டு தப்பினான். அந்த பைஜாமாக்களை பார்த்து மற்ற திருடர்கள் வாயடைத்துப் போயினர். அவர்கள் தேவனை தங்கள் தலைவனாக ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள்.

நீதி: புத்திசாலியாக இருங்கள்.

 Advising A Fool: On a mango tree in a jungle, there lived many birds. They were happy in their small nests. Before the onset of the rainy season, all the animal of the jungle repaired their homes.
