The King who changed the Fate

A king once prepared a military force to attack his enemy and started to prepare for the war. He was confident that he would win that war anyway. But the soldiers were very suspicious about it.

So the king asked a saint about what he could do to bring courage to his soldiers. Then, the saint told the king a suggestion and the king did like that. According to it, the king prayed in a temple on the way to war. He took a coin and showed in front of the soldiers. He said, I will toss this coin now and if it comes head, we will win this war otherwise we will get defeat in the war. He told them that the coin would tell us our fate and start to toss the coin.

Everyone observed it keenly and head was fell. So,the soldiers were confident that they will surely succeed and with that happiness, they defeated their enemies. After the war, the minister told the king that no one can change the fate. The king then told the minister, yes and showed the coin that had head on both sides. The king made the minister to realize that if you act with confidence, you can easily win and change the fate.

Moral : Confident makes sucess.





விதியை மாற்றிய மன்னர்

அரசர் ஒருவர் ஒரு முறை எதிரிகளை தாக்க இராணுவ படை ஒன்றை தயார் செய்து, போருக்கு தயாரானார். அவர், எப்படியும் அந்த போரில் வெற்றி பெறுவோம் என்று நம்பிக்கையுடன் இருந்தார். ஆனால் அவரின் படை வீரர்களோ பெரும் சந்தேகத்துடனேயே இருந்தனர்.

அதனால் அரசர் தன் படை வீரர்களுக்கு தைரியத்தை வரவழைக்க என்ன செய்யலாம் என்று ஒரு துறவியிடம் கேட்டார். அதற்கு துறவி அரசரிடம் ஒரு யோசனையை சொன்னார். அதேபோல் அரசரும் செய்தார். அதன்படி, அரசர் போருக்கு செல்லும் வழியில், கோவிலில் நின்று பிரார்த்தனை செய்து, ஒரு நாணயத்தை எடுத்து வீரர்களின் முன் நீட்டி, நான் இப்போது இந்த நாணயத்தை சுழற்றி விடுவேன், தலை விழுந்தால் நாம் வெற்றி பெறுவோம், இல்லையேல் போரில் தோற்போம் என்று சொன்னார். பின் அவர்களிடம், நம் தலை விதியை இந்த நாணயம் சொல்லும் என்று கூறி நாணயத்தை சுண்டினார்.

அனைவரும் அதை கூர்ந்து கவனித்தனர். அப்போது தலை விழுந்தது. அதனால் அந்த வீரர்கள் நாம் நிச்சயம் வெற்றி பெறுவோம் என்று நம்பிக்கையுடனும் சந்தோசத்துடனும் எதிரிகளை தாக்கி வெற்றிப் பெற்றனர். போருக்குப் பின்னர், அமைச்சர், விதியை யாராலும் மாற்ற முடியாது, என்று அரசரிடம் சொன்னார். அதற்கு அரசர், ஆம் என்று சொல்லி அந்த நாணயத்தின் இரு பக்கத்திலும் தலை இருப்பதை அமைச்சரிடம் காண்பித்தார். நம்பிக்கையுடன் செயல்பட்டால் எத்தகைய காரியத்தையும் எளிதில் வெல்லலாம், விதியையும் மாற்றி அமைக்கலாம் என்று அரசர் அமைச்சருக்கு உணர்த்தினார்.
